for the rainy days spent under your blankets.

"I don't wanna break your heart", I stared at his blue eyes and held his hand. "I don't wanna be the girl who takes off the best of you and leaves only emptiness. 'Cause I've been there too and I know how hard it is to heal a broken heart.".
"We can't be happy forever like in fairy tales".
"But we sure can have some great memories to cheer up the bad days. You just need to give your head the permision to follow your heart.".
"But what am i supposed to do if the girl i wanna be with is also my bestfriend? What if i let her down?", he said with a sad smile on his beautiful face and then i lost my focus for a few minutes.
"Well, you can call your bestfriend and ask her to spend the whole day under a tree, listening to Zebrahead, with you like the old times. Then you two should go home and have Vitamin Water and tacos for dinner while watching Arrested Development. She might be okay after that.".
His laugh, the best sound i've ever heard, filled my heart with happiness and his arms went around me, in a sweet hug.
"I wanna be with you. I'm just a little bit afraid."
"You don't need to.", i said. "At least that's what you always told me. Don't be afraid to jump, then fall, 'cause i'm always gonna be here to catch you.".
And with that said, his lips found its way to mine. It was soft and kind. Just like in all those dreams i used to have with my bestfriend.
"I'm so glad you're here to catch me".
